The confectionery shop proclaims itself as a brand committed to its consumers, with quite special candies.boutique de bonbons What types of sweets? Chilli candies, sugar free, space and so many more. Find all these sweets on their websites. As specified above, they are committed to pleasing children and adults alike, but also people who cannot enjoy sugar. The young company is constantly innovating and wants to revolutionize the world of confectionery with these unique sweets! We think we've unearthed the candy store you dreamed of as a child , the one you would have loved to stay locked up in all night. Exit the Cardinal Lemoine metro station and walk down Rue Monge a few steps. You will come across a veritable Ali Baba's cave of confectionery of all kinds to make anyone… baba! From the first glance, the shop plunges us into a certain nostalgia: desks, geographical maps and blackboard found here, it's been a classroom atmosphere of the 1950s since the opening in 2008. Georges, the "teacher d'école” very strong in foreign languages (he speaks five!) welcomes us with a broad smile. His candy shop, he dreamed of it since childhood, and he embarked on the adventure after twenty-eight years in the catering and hotel industry. As a real superhero, he wanted to save the confectionery of yesteryear from oblivion , and the bet is more than successful! Among a selection of two hundred traditional sweets from our regions , the hardest part is choosing. Sucres d'orge, Coco Boer, violets from Toulouse, calissons, marshmallows from major French houses, all of them wink at us through the candy boxes, which does not make things any easier. We love this profusion of flavors and the originality of this regressive boutique which also offers more unusual specialties such as crystallized rosebuds, puff pastry peanuts and even candied Espelette pepper. For those who are never satisfied, an equally comforting “biscuit factory” classroom has opened its doors ten meters from this little paradise! In one of the former galley arsenals of the Quai de Rive Neuve, in the Old Port of Marseille, La Compagnie Candy has dropped anchor. True to tradition, shuttles, croquants and canistrelli are honored in the midst of more unusual delicacies such as La Fré tillante shortbread , in the shape of sardines, which embody the Mediterranean spirit both in their flavor and their shape, or the La Marseillote with a taste carried by the mistral, made of honey, orange and anise. On the neutral-coloured stalls, packets of confectionery send out color between flavors from the South (calissons, chocolate olives and fruit jellies) , from France (chestnuts from Collobrières, salted butter caramels from Brittany, Froufrous à la jam from Normandy…) and sweets from our childhood (pacifiers, roudoudous, liquorice…)
